Helping customers into education, training and work

Helping customers into education, training and work

We want to help people to achieve their potential. We know that it’s not always easy for everyone to access training, education or work. Financial pressures, childcare, transport and needing the right equipment or clothing, can prevent people from realising their dreams. So we help customers with financial grants to remove these barriers and help them to achieve.

Our grants are flexible and can be used to pay for training or college courses, books or equipment needed to study, uniform, tools or equipment needed for work, clothes for interviews, childcare and transport.

Last year we gave out over £10,000 that has helped hundreds of people. One of our customer's has a daughter who suffers with anxiety and depression which prevents her from going to school. So we paid for an online course which enabled her to study for her A-levels at home. She is now well on her way to completing her A levels and pursuing her dreams of becoming an Engineer.

Another benefitted from a computer, software and mobile broadband so that he could study for a social science criminology course.

We helped one customer by paying for her to do a massage course and buying her a massage table and uniform. This has helped her to gain a higher qualification and work as a masseuse.

For another customer, childcare costs were an issue, so we helped with this so that she could study for a nursing degree.

We know that everyone's circumstances are different and sometimes a little help can go a long way in helping people to improve their situation.

Sasha Deepwell, Chief Executive said “We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to realise their potential. These grants are life changing, removing barriers that can often hold people back.  If you would benefit from our support we would love to help you on your way.”
