  • Before your appointment, we will explain what you need to do when we visit
  • We will call ahead of your appointment to check you are well and that you still want us to attend.
  • We aim to do all inspections virtually where we can.

What we ask you to do.

  • Please remove personal items from the area where we will be carrying out the work.
  • Please make sure someone is at home when we visit.
  • Please go into another room while we work in your home.
  • Please open a window in the room we will be working in to ventilate the area 15 minutes before we arrive and keep it open for 15 minutes after we leave.

sheltered housing

To keep everybody safe we ask that you follow the guidance below

When using the communal lounge please....

  • Keep the windows and doors open and make sure there is plenty of ventilation.
  • Wipe down surfaces when you arrive and leave using the cleaning products provided.
  • Wear a face covering when moving around. It is fine to remove your face covering when you are seated
  • Maintain a safe social distance to people you do not live with or who are not in your support bubble.
  • Keep numbers to a reasonable amount. We strongly advise against large gatherings as this will make it harder to manage everyone’s safety.

When using the communal kitchen please....

  • Make sure that there are no more than two people in the kitchen at any one time.
  • Keep the windows and doors open and make sure there is plenty of ventilation.
  • Wipe down surfaces and wash all tableware and cutlery in hot soapy water.
  • Wear a face covering.
  • Maintain a safe social distance to people you do not live with or who are not in your support bubble.

Our colleagues can advise and guide you on safe use of the communal facilities when they are on site, but we ask all customers and their visitors to take responsibility for following the guidance for the sake of everyone’s wellbeing.

Remember, even if you have been double vaccinated you can still contract Covid-19 and pass it on. Even if the symptoms are not as severe, it still can make you quite ill, and some people may still require hospital treatment. Some of our customers are especially vulnerable due to complex health issues, so your help and understanding is important
