Irwell Valley Homes has secured the top consumer grading in its first inspection against the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards.
We're delighted we have also maintained our G1 governance rating and V2 viability rating after an inspection during the summer of 2026.
Sasha Deepwell, our Chief Executive, said: “The C1 grade provides independent assurance that we're delivering good outcomes for tenants: providing safe, well-maintained homes; making a positive contribution to communities and listening to customers and involving them in our work.
“Most importantly, it recognises our customers are at the heart of what we do.
“We're equally pleased to have retained our G1 governance rating and V2 financial viability rating, demonstrating strong leadership, governance and financial resilience as we continue to invest in existing homes, regenerate communities and build much-needed new affordable homes.
“We know there is still work to be done as we move forward with our plans – listening, learning and building on what matters to our customers and communities.”
Niki Stockton, Chair of the Board at Irwell Valley Homes, said: “This judgement reflects the dedication of colleagues, customers and Board members who share a commitment to providing safe, quality homes and services
“While we're pleased with this result, the organisation will not sit still, as we move forward to meet the priorities of the people who live in our homes and communities across Greater Manchester.”
The latest grading follows Irwell Valley Homes’ G1 and V2 ratings secured in 2023.
