Motiv8 supports people overcome the challenges and barriers they face to get back on track.

By improving wellbeing, confidence and employability skills, the programme works to increase people’s chances of accessing training or finding a job.

We work in partnership with Upturn, a social enterprise which helps people to gain work experience, secure employment, and set up businesses.

They can provide 1-2-1 hands-on support, helping with CV writing, building confidence, updating your skills and knowledge, finding job
opportunities and preparing for interviews.

The HITZ programme from Sale Sharks helps 16-to-19 year-olds develop skills, gain work experience and achieve qualifications, whilst supporting them with their personal and professional development.

Each week the Department for Work and Pensions hosts a Youth Hub at the Oasis, our community resource centre in Tatton Road, Haughton Green.

It offers a place where young people can connect with work coaches to help them into education, training or employment.

We host Tameside in Work at the Oasis centre in Haghton Green. It supports people on low incomes and zero hours contracts to develop their skills and increase their earnings.

The sessions give people access to trained advisors who can help with a personalised service to support people to achieve their career goals, develop new skills and progress at work.
