This year Irwell Valley Homes celebrates its 50th anniversary – marking five decades of enabling people to live well in their homes and communities across Greater Manchester.
The 9th of May 1973 is the official date we were formed, starting out with a handful of homes in Salford.
Now, almost exactly 50 years on, we’re celebrating our half a century with a party at Alderfield House on Wednesday 10th May from 1pm.

The event is for residents of Alderfield House and the surrounding streets of Alder Edge, Park View, Crescent Court, Beech Court, Longford House and Alderfield Road.
