We’re celebrating five decades of enabling people to live well in their homes and communities.

The 9th May 2023 is a special date in the history of Irwell Valley Homes as we celebrate our 50th birthday!

On this day 50 years ago the official founding document was signed, starting out with just a handful of homes in Salford.

Since then, we’ve grown into a team of more than 250 colleagues serving more than 22,000 customers across 7,500 homes.

So much has changed but our core purpose – to enable people to live well in their homes and communities – remains the same today as it was in 1973.
