They were chosen as Team of the Year in the Rural/Suburban Development category.

Our submission showcased the variety of different development types and tenures they’ve worked across this year.

From the ongoing regeneration of Sale West – where we’re currently on site building new homes for social rent – to new supported housing in Willow Street in Bury, along with new rent-to-buy homes in Old Trafford and our Project 500 development on the site of the former Plant Hill police station in Blackley.

The judges said: “This small team has delivered an impressive range of schemes, balancing regeneration, specialist supported housing and net zero innovation with strong customer and stakeholder engagement.”

We’re extremely proud of the team and everyone at Irwell Valley who has played a part in delivering these much-needed developments, providing homes which meet the needs of our customers and communities.

With more funding opportunities available through the Social and Affordable Homes Programme from next year, we’re ready to continue playing our part in delivering new affordable homes alongside our investment in our current homes and communities.
