Irwell Valley Homes has joined forces with Houseproud North West and local housing providers to host a series of free online events for customers and members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to come together in celebration, unity, and solidarity.
Join us on Wednesday 25th August 10am - 5pm
The day kicks off with a Q&A with the LGBT Foundation on the need for specialist services and creative inclusive housing for older LGBTQ+ people.
There is a graffiti-style street art class hosted by the National Housing Project and an opportunity to turn your household plastics into a Pride Flag at the eco-crafting class. The day will finish with a fun-filled game of Drag Queen Bingo, hosted by Manchester's beauty queen Annabelle Lecter. Prizes will be awarded for bingo winners and resources provided for some classes. You've got to be in it to win it!
There are limited places available so please register your free place as soon as possible! We will allocate spaces on a first-come-first-served basis with priority to customers and the LGBTQ+ community and allies in Greater Manchester.
Once you have registered you will be contacted to confirm your place. Please provide your postal address if you are booking onto the Street Art and Pride Flag Eco-Crafting classes for materials to be sent out to you free of charge, however, for the Pride Flag class you will need to gather together your household plastics (e.g carrier bags).
