Pop in and see us at Trinity Food Bank’s drop-in café on Friday 14th July.
This year Irwell Valley Homes celebrates its 50th birthday – marking five decades of enabling people to live well in their homes and communities across Greater Manchester.
Join us to celebrate this significant milestone with a cup of tea and a slice of birthday cake at Trinity Food Bank’s Pop-up Support Café on Friday 14th July.
Call by at Trinity Baptist Church in Westminster Avenue between 9am and 12pm to meet your Community Co-ordinator Lynne for a chat. She’ll also be able to talk through any issues or concerns you have about your home or tenancy.
Throughout the morning they’ll be other chances to meet members of our team including:
9am-10am: Danny, our Customer Voice Lead, who can run through the opportunities for getting involved with our work and helping to shape the services we offer.
10am – 11am: Louisa, from our charitable investment fund The Irwell Valley Foundation, who can talk about our £50,000 birthday funding pot. We have grants of up to £1,500 available for customers this year which can be spent improving the area or bringing residents together. Perhaps you’d like to organise a community fun day or improve a communal garden? If you’re a member of a constituted group or charity, we also have grants of up to £5,000 available to support local initiatives So, if there’s something you need some support to get underway or maintain, please call by to discuss it!
11am – 12pm: Lesley, from our rents team will be on hand to help with any questions or queries you have about benefits and how to ensure you’re claiming everything you’re entitled to. If you have received a letter about moving to Universal Credit and have any questions about the process, Lesley should be able to help.
