Our Board has adopted the National Housing Federation 'Code of Governance' 2015.
Members are paid in recognition of the responsibility, time and effort they put into the running of the Association. Payments are reviewed on a regular basis - including market testing of rates.

John is an experienced leader in the housing sector and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing. An experienced Board member, former Chief Executive of a housing association and former President of the Chartered Institute of Housing, John brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in leadership and governance to the Board.
Paul is a finance professional with substantial banking experience. A qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Paul brings a strong a focus on financial information, management strategy, risk management and working within regulatory and corporate frameworks.
Niki is an experienced leader and board member in the housing sector. Currently an Executive Director at another north west housing association, Niki brings significant skills and experience to the Board in relation to improving homes, services and both asset and neighbourhood management.
Fiona is a resident board member and housing professional specialising in homelessness. She is currently the Principal Homelessness Strategy Officer at Manchester City Council and brings sound working knowledge of housing law, homelessness legislation and welfare reform to the board.
Susan is an expert in public sector management and finance. As an experienced director she has led major investment and partnership programmes in the public sector and has provided strategic leadership to deliver change and improve performance.
As a qualified solicitor specialising in housing, Catharine brings a wealth of housing management and legal expertise to the Board. She is currently a Senior Associate at a private practice and has previously worked in-house for a registered provider. She is widely recognised as an expert in this field.
Glyn is an experienced board member and senior Civil Servant specialising in compliance and accreditation. He has worked across the public sector in education, local government and housing, and has personal experience of being a tenant.
Brain is a qualified accountant and former civil servant with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in governance and quality assurance. From his career in local Government Brian brings extensive experience in development, regeneration and environmental services.
Steve is a highly-skilled practitioner with extensive experience in the construction industry. He has working knowledge of social housing in relation to refurbishment and new build and currently leads an award-winning repairs and maintenance company.
