Morris Court in Manchester is a supported housing service for adults aged 18-65 years, with enduring mental health issues. Morris Court has successful history of helping residents gain the necessary skills to move on to independent living as well as addressing the practical problems and social issues they face, so that they can improve and maintain good mental and physical health.
The housing related support provided at Morris Court is based on the 'Recovery Model' and supports people in a person-centred way. Residents all have personalised support packages to enable them to develop independent living skills, realise their potential and move on successfully from the scheme within a 12-month period.
Morris Court is a purpose-built block containing 17 studio apartments with private bathroom and kitchens. Each flat is furnished with a settee, bed, bedside cabinet, table and chairs and contain a 24-hour emergency call system linked to our out of hours monitoring service.
