Boosting communities

Bringing communities together and helping people to enjoy life

We know that when communities come together, great things happen!

From lunch clubs for older people, to holidays activities for young people - we have supported projects and initiatives that bring communities together and have a positive impact on individual people's lives and the wider community.

We've worked with resident and community groups to get a project off the ground, and we've helped to set up new groups in communities to address a specific need, such as the dementia cafes we support across Greater Manchester.

You can make a grant application for up to £25,000 that can be used to pay for things that will benefit your community such as:

  • Projects that promote and encourage health and well being
  • Social Enterprise
  • Voluntary groups
  • Activities and projects that increase confidence and self esteem
  • Projects that address poverty, social isolation and intergenerational activity
  • Projects that promote and encourage health and well being
  • Children and Young People projects
  • Lunch Clubs

We are always looking for communities to help, so if you have an idea or project that would benefit from our support, we'd love to hear from you.
